Valentine’s Day Food Transformation Guide

You can transform just about any dish for the holiday with a little creativity and cookie cutters!  Here are our favorite Valentine’s Day food styling creations of the year to inspire you in the kitchen…

1) Heart Shaped Pink Waffles & Strawberries

Tint your favorite waffle recipe or pre-made mix with a spoonful of strawberry pie filling!  You don’t need a heart-shaped waffle iron, simply use a cookie cutter for perfectly shaped waffles. <3  Serve with strawberries and powdered sugar for a tasty breakfast treat!2) Mini Mozzarella Heart Caprese Salad

Slice and cookie-cut fresh mozzarella.  Add cherry tomato halves, fresh basil leaves, and a squeeze of balsamic reduction glaze for a delicious appetizer! 3) Watermelon & Cucumber Mint Salad

For this cute salad, cut out watermelon and cucumber hearts, add chopped mint leaves, and a splash of balsamic vinegarette!   4) Valentine Mini Pies

Did you know that all roses are edible?  Not only are these icicles a fragrant delight, they are too pretty to taste.  Mix your favorite pedals with water and freeze overnight!
