How to host a classy Halloween party with subtle details…

Halloween parties are so much fun with costumes and candy, spooky decor, and scary elements. But what if you aren’t into all the scary ghosts and goblins and just want to host a pretty party during Halloween? Pretty Halloween parties CAN be done and I love the idea of incorporating just a little bit of that Halloween spirit with subtle details…

Start with the Stationery.
All of my Halloween stationery dreams came true with these black envelopes and cards printed with gold foil. Feminine calligraphy softens the skull theme of this design suite. The skeleton wax seal and black silk ribbon are totally over the top!

Greet your guests with champagne and blackberries! Add tiny tasting spoons to each glass so guests can spoon out the champagne soaked blackberries at the bottom; DELICIOUS. Keeping with the main stationery theme, place cards were printed with gold foil on vellum and then tucked into each dinner fork. You can find this fab flatware set here! A marble top table keeps the overall look light and bright. Our Halloween dinner party table was topped with black dinner plates, black linen napkins, marble salad plates, and black pumpkins. Adding the gold trim flatware and glasses for that finished touch. And finally, a black naked drip cake for dessert! Our favorite things in which to decorate naked cakes in the fall are figs, blackberries, and macarons!!We hope you are inspired to host your own super classy Halloween dinner party too!
