How to style up a pretty and elegant Halloween Party!

Every year I am torn between hosting an all-out spooky Halloween party complete with spider webs, ghosts, and goblins, or going elegant with rich colors and simplified details.  I love a pretty party and had an itch to indulge in these dark tones so I put all but a select few of my favorite Halloween themed items away and pulled out the fancy serverware for this deliciously dark dinner party.  Get all the inspo for your next Halloween party here. Happy Haunting!

Special thanks to my friend Stephanie at Cake Krush for the cupcakes and Bella Dolce for these spectacular flowers!

Gold foil spiderweb print place cards for the tiniest hint of spooky! To start, a selection of fruits and brie, yum!  I love shopping for charcuterie board elements.  I try to keep my color theme in mind for each party when picking out the fruits, nuts, crackers, and cheeses.  And I pack it all in tight for that full look!  I got this black cheese board at Pier One and it’s chalkboard! A selection of delicious wines and artisan breads to pair with the courses…My entire wardrobe changes with each holiday, I just can’t help myself!  I found this year’s core pieces at Old Navy and Francesca’s. Aren’t these flowers amazing!?  I was really excited to use this piece of floral art for a very large statement centerpiece. For dinner, butternut squash soup!  I love serving soups in the fall… it feels so cozy and it’s easy to put together well in advance so that I’m not rushing to pull every detail together at the last minute.  I got this pumpkin shaped dutch oven at World Market along with these matte finish black bowls. And for dessert, these gorgeous red velvet, blackberry, and fig cupcakes…  Rich in color and flavor!
