Pretty in Pink Inspiration Shoot!
AHHH!!!! This was so much fun. I live and breathe styling/hanging with my friendors so yea, we had a pretty good time with this shoot hehe! I wanted to play with the furniture in my studio and super girlie things that I had been collecting, so I got a group of fantastic people together and we created BEAUTIFUL styling inspiration!! Soft and romantic, super feminine and just overall pretty is what we were going for here.
A previous bride of HLP, Matteson, was the perfect fit with her long blond hair and unique look! My inspiration originally came from how stunning she was in her tulle gown she found at Isabella’s bridal. I love long tulle dresses for their romantic movement, add a little bit of lace and boom, combo dress heaven! Sadia, our sweet makeup artist dolled Matteson up with perfect eyes and pink lips to finish her look; she is nothing short of #goddessgoals with those big pink lips. I literally die when I look at her in these photos… DREAMY.
I styled the day away with all the pieces that I had found and purchased over the last few months and Julie, my WONDERFUL 905 hall neighbor and florist extraordinaire finished it all off with the gorgeous fresh florals. Linda, from Cakes So Simple provided the super cute cakes and if you haven’t tried it yet, Around the World Bakery made these scrumptious strawberry macarons which I barely shared… as usual. Thank you to everyone that helped bring this little project to life! Keep reading for more styling ideas and fabulously romantic pink inspiration!

Matteson… the personification of soft and dreamy! It’s all in the details. I love to pay particular attention to color, shape, and textural elements when I put things together. The tiniest detail can change an overall look like the taper candle holder shapes matched with the blush tone. The rigid lines of the modern geometric shape have a modern feel but paired with the soft blush, it becomes a fresh combination of two styling worlds creating interest. For more romantic bouquets, I love a wild arrangement with hanging tendrils and less overall structure. And a hint of her sweet personality! LOVE.
