New Year’s Eve Star Party Ideas!

Can you believe we are ringing in the New Year in just a few days? Not only that, it’s a new decade! This is cause for celebration! Inspired by my gold Christmas decor and star ornaments, I pulled together my best gold entertaining pieces and set up this party with a club atmosphere in a dark black room. This year’s fun party finds were mostly at World Market and Target! So head out to that dollar bin section and stock up!

DESSERT

These blueberry pies were the perfect fit for a celestial inspired dessert. The dark color in the blueberry filling looks like a night sky! I baked the star crust separately on a cookie sheet before applying them to the tops so they wouldn’t over bake. I keep basic shaped cookie cutters in various sizes in my cookie cutter basket for last minute baking adventures ideas like this!

DRINKS

I picked up a few bottles of this sparkling rosé and these giant bottle size gold straws at World Market. The whole bottle for each guest!? WHY NOT! 😂 My tulle and star dress is from SHEIN.

DINNER

For dinner, a candlelit affair in an all black room with hanging star pendants (Christmas Tree Toppers). The ghost chairs add a modern touch and the table cloth is just layers of fabric by the yard. The first layer is a shimmering gold which I topped with a tulle and gold star embroidered fabric. I then repurposed my Christmas ornaments as a giant table runner by running a string down the center of the table and tying it to a table leg in the back for stability. I then just hooked and tied the ornaments evenly throughout the table and down the front until it looked full.

DECOR

Each place setting housed all the fun pieces necessary to celebrate the New Year. Including resolution and goal cards for a fun social activity!This bar cart is my new favorite piece! The perfect addition to a gold themed party for easy serving. There are so many pieces for a party centered around drinks and party supplies!Happy New Year, everyone! I hope 2020 is the best year yet! 🎉
