After a long time in isolation, my plant collection has grown considerably and I am now one with my urban jungle! If you are like me and have spent a ton of time with your plants and collecting new species, I think this party is for you. Swapping cuttings with friends is a great way to save money and collect new babies. It’s also an easy party to set up outdoors for a safer social setting during this unique season of life.
Table Styling
Using my potting table, the old and beat-up wood was a great base for earthy tabletop styling. I topped it with woven chargers and black plates to match my dark jungle vibe. And the finishing touch, these World Market napkins, and Pink Apron Confections cookies.
Food
I’ve been cooking at home non-stop throughout the pandemic. I think some delicious takeout is perfect for this party. Sushi is so pretty against the greenery! You can poll your friends for their favorite dishes but I highly suggest a big order of the basics. Fried Rice and Pad Thai are typically safe bets for a mixed group of buddies.
Drinks
There is nothing more refreshing than lemonade on a hot day. Take it up a notch and squeeze a fresh Kiwi in your lemonade for some added flavor. Spike it for an adult version fit for evening affairs.
