Kid’s Christmas Room Ideas!
Rudolph Themed Kid’s Christmas Room
Every season, I create a new theme for my kiddo’s room starting with a chalk mural on his room back wall that I painted with chalk paint. He turned ten this year and I was worried that the cute designs may be coming to an end. But to my surprise, he requested Rudolph. I think this mural came out amazing! If you want to create a mural somehwere in your home and you’re worried about your drawing abilities, try projecting an image on the wall and tracing the outline first. It helps tremendously with dimensions and accuracy regardless of your skill level.
I found a few new pieces at my favorite kid’s decor shop, Pottery Barn Kids. This knit blanket is so soft and I hope he will still love it for years to come.
I found a few other reindeer pieces at Target like the ears, light up nose, and slippers. The light up nose is really easy to add to a wall or teddy bear without power cords!
Last year, I did a Grinch theme. I love the way these colorful Christmas lights work into each of the designs. It creates a magical glow in his room and lit up the murals. The grinch sheets are also from Pottery Barn Kids.
The backdrop ends up being my favorite spot for Christmas card photos too!
