Boho Galentine’s Day Party Ideas!
Boho Galentine’s Day Party Ideas!
The time of year for all things pink and love notes is here! Pink is by far my favorite color to play with so I get pretty excited when February is on the horizon. Pink is one of those colors that somehow goes with everything. For this boho-inspired party, I decided to pair it with neutrals instead of pink flowers and give the ever so popular pampas grass a chance. (Special thanks to my friend Fern & Curl for loaning me her pampas stash!). My biggest tip for large arrangements like these is to use chicken wire to hold it all together. I created cylinders with rolled-up pieces of chicken wire and placed them in each flower box. With the chicken wire in place, it was then easy to add the long stems to the individual wire holes. Dried palm tree leaves from my own backyard and some dried elements from the craft store were all I needed to fill in the gaps.
Tabletop Decor.
I love smaller parties like this 6 top because I can bring out a smaller collection in my stash. This all pink plate set from World Market and pink and gold flatware set were the perfect pink accent pieces. Shop my favorite tabletop pieces for Valentine’s Day-themed entertaining in this blog post! The pink velvet chairs are from Amazon here, the flower boxes are from Target, and the rattan trays/chargers are from Hobby Lobby.
Attire.
I highly recommend coordinating with your gal pals for pretty in pink party pictures you will all love! This skirt is from Banana Republic and the top is from Shein. Texture in fabrics photograph particularly well so this sheer blouse with loose sleeves and folded skirt were a really fun combination.
Good Eats.
For this party, I opted for the easy route and purchased all my items pre-made. You can get a diverse assortment of waffles and pancakes from the supermarket frozen section these days. I love mixing shapes and colors for a diverse range of color play. Some berries, bakery items, and syrup complete the brunch display. Another favorite way to go easy on the food making is to have a pot luck. If everyone brings one dish, there is always more than enough food!
Boho Bar Cart!
Go scavaging at your local antique shops for gems like this vintage cart! Antique stores are full of accent pieces. They’re low cost and great items to have for all your entertaining fun!
Accessories.
I always find great holiday paper products at Target and Craft Stores. Just a few finds from the $1 bin were plenty to bring the Galentine theme to the forefront. Don’t feel like you need to break the bank on specialty themed items to have a themed party <3
