After a long time in isolation, my plant collection had grown considerably and I am now one with my urban jungle! If you are like me and have spent a ton of time with your plants and collecting new species, I think this party is for you. Swapping cuttings with friends is a great way to save money and collect new babies.
Table Styling
Using my potting table, the old and beat-up wood was a great base for earthy tabletop styling. I topped it with woven chargers and black plates to match my dark jungle vibe. And the finishing touch, these World Market napkins, and Pink Apron Confections cookies.
Food
I think some delicious takeout is perfect for this party. Sushi is so pretty against the greenery! You can poll your friends for their favorite dishes but I highly suggest a big order of the basics. Fried Rice and Pad Thai are typically safe bets for a mixed group of buddies.
Drinks
There is nothing more refreshing than lemonade on a hot day. Take it up a notch and squeeze a fresh Kiwi in your lemonade for some added flavor. Spike it for an adult version fit for evening affairs.
