7 Egg Dishes to consider for Easter Breakfast
Stuck on what to serve for Easter breakfast? Or maybe you just need some inspiration to freshen up your go-to scrambled eggs recipe. Check out our favorite egg-centric recipes in this post and serve up an egg-citing breakfast to your family!
1. Egg & Sausage Biscuit Sandwiches
Everyone’s favorite breakfast sandwich. This is a great way to serve a group of people fast! I like to present the biscuits, sausages, and eggs separately on one large board and let my guests put them together themselves.
2. Tomato, Mushroom, and Spinach Omelets
Beat 3 eggs with salt and pepper and heat over a non-stick pan. Add your toppings like this tomato, mushroom, and spinach omelet and flip into a half moon shape. For a larger crowd, try an omelet bar with a selection of toppings to please every palate!
3. Quiche
This quiche recipe from Spend With Pennies is super easy and delish! Try adding your favorite ingredients for the perfect family sized quiche and decorate with fresh ingredients for a polished presentation.
4. Bunny Eggs Over Easy
You can style just about any recipe with cookie cutters! I found these on Amazon and they worked perfectly for these bunny-shaped eggs you could serve just like this in a skillet or on toast for a themed breakfast.
5. Chili Deviled Eggs
Deviled eggs are my absolute fav and I love making them with new twists like this chili rendition. Start by making your deviled eggs as usual (I used 5 large eggs here) but add 2 tablespoons of your favorite chili recipe to the yolk mixture and combine before adding to your egg whites. To garnish, add a few of the black beans to the top!
6. Breakfast Tacos with Chipotle Sauce
These breakfast tacos are too delicious! They are very easy to make with store-bought ingredients or you can make everything from scratch. Start with corn tortillas, add scrambled eggs, your favorite toppings like peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms, and top with a creamy chipotle sauce! Yum!
7. Eggs A La Goldenrod
This recipe comes from my husband’s family cookbook and is a big hit in our house! I recently found it on Betty Crocker with the exception of Paprika. I highly recommend adding a good sprinkle of Paprika to the top of this recipe for the perfect flavor boost!
