Date night inspiration for the overachiever…
YAY! Another #styledfortwo is added to the directory with this Valentine’s Day inspired cupcakes shoot. This can be set up anywhere but I found a quiet corner in my home to decorate a little sit down cupcake tasting for my chocolate loving hubs! One of our many amazing cupcake shops in town called Take a Bite Cupcakes makes these awesome mini cupcakes in gourmet flavors. So, I went and picked up two of each flavor for us to try. The ultimate guilty pleasure, taking one bite out of each treat and just tasting each one without getting overstuffed! All the details on my setup are in this article so keep reading!
You can create a scene with anything you have in your garage and a couple things from your local craft store. The curtain wall is just pieces of 8 ft. lumber I had in my scrap pile that I covered in fabric by the yard. No sew, just held up with the wood pieces. The little table was an old beat up play table that got replaced so I freely spray painted it gold ;).
The napkins are an ombre pink fabric that I just cut to length. The gold forks are from Target and the vase was from Old Time Pottery. 
My outfit is a tutu skirt that I had made for me on etsy and the wifey shirt is from TJMaxx. The flowers were the most difficult part of the setup. Many youtube videos were watched, lots of flowers were thrown away, many frustrated ARGHS were yelled. But I think I learned some good tips and I can’t wait to attempt another one!
