Red Plaid Dinner Styling with a Blanket!

Setting the table this Christmas is extra difficult only because there are so many fun options!  If you have a Christmas throw hanging around the house that inspires you, consider using it as a table setting base.  We did just that using the 2017 holiday trend: red plaid.  Top it with lush greens, pewter, and gold (ornaments in the floral arrangement yes!) and have yourself a cozy little holiday gathering!

Santa and Frosty mini plates top white linen and silver sparkle lined napkins.  Simple white plates, pewter chargers with a gold rim, and gold flatware fill in the tablescape.Cranberries look amazing in winter cocktails!  I also added them to pewter goblets as decoration to hold these scroll name tags in place.  The scrolls are simply hand torn watercolor paper and gold sharpie.  Easy peasy.Use blankets to pretty up just about anything!  …Food styling!  Mmmmm pie <3
